We represent an International Scandinavian Environmental Sustainability and Consultancy Firm. They are looking to develop their capabilities and are now launching an international search assignment to source for an established Practice Lead to head up a Unit its established studio in the areas of Water Sustainability and Environment.

Division: Water Sustainability, Consultancy and the Environment
Location: Denmark, Copenhagen (2 years, ultimately to be based in Singapore)

• The role of the Practice Lead would be to manage the Business Unit in managing its project on water sustainability, consultancy and design advisory for projects

• Working with the firm’s design and technical teams, to inspire, collaborate and direct the activities of designers and support staff to strengthen the character and quality of our design process

• Responsible for carrying out the design check of the drawings produced by CAD technicians in the team and maintaining quality of deliverables.

• Should have hands on experience in using any of the drainage design software (WinDes, MIKE Urban, Civil 3D, StormCAD, SewerCAD InRoads (Storm & Sanitary), DanDasGraf. Knowledge of ArcGIS is desirable.

• should have knowledge of tools like AutoCAD/Micro Station (preferred) and preparing drawings in accordance with internationally recognized standard formats.

The ideal candidate must have at least a Degree/Masters in Architectural, Civil or relevant Engineering discipline with at least 10-15 years of experience. You are expected to have strong experience in a similar role with good knowledge of current practices, codes of conducts and procedures. You must have a good command of spoken and written English, and be assertive and confident in nature. Should have experience in drainage design, sewer design and potable water network design. Knowledge of design codes like Euro code/DMRB/AASHTO/any other international standards would be desirable, knowledge and understanding of principles of drainage designs for road, airport and rail environment, Knowledge and understanding of principles of water and waste water system designs in Indian and international environment. Knowledge of process and detailed design of STP/WTP is desirable.
