Our Client is an International Petrochemical Refinery. We are presently seeking an experienced PROCESS ENGINEERING MANAGER as part of their expansion plans across Asia. • Reporting to the Regional Technical Director, this position is responsible for the development, optimizing, troubleshooting of plant process and equipment to achieve high operational availability, availability, flexibility and total safety.

• Follow-up and developing process in responsible area

• Working as specialist in Singapore refinery and providing support for operations and all other departments

• Initiating and applying multi-discipline process design and control strategies in relation to processes and systems

• Finding and resolve different process limitations and optimizing production

• Ensure high utilization and availability

• Act as change / steering manager in small optimization projects

• Review proposals of the operating manuals, operating procedures

• Facilitate / Participate in safety assessments like i.e. HAZOP

• Participate and constructively contribute in major investment projects in all stages

• Responsible for operations KPI development, recording, knowledge retention and follow up

• Responsible to develop and follow-up operational guidelines

• Responsible for override requests and approvals

• Responsible for catalyst / absorbent etc. follow up and lead team to i.e. change out absorbent

• Leading operations towards an operational excellence culture (technical matters)

Requirements

The successful candidate must possess at least a Bachelors/Masters in a relevant Engineering/Science discipline with at least 3-5 years of prior working experience in an Oil, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Chemical processing plant. Process development experience and Continuous Improvement experience is crucial. Cracker experience a plus, alternatively, Refinery/Petrochemical environment experience is a requisite.
