A Scandinavian Petrochemical/Refiner is currently seeking an established TECHNICAL TRAINER (T&D/L&D) to join their reputable organization as part of their development and expansion plans. With the opportunity for a myriad of growth and learning environment coupled with the prospect of expanding one's established portfolio, the role entails one to:

• Develop, implement and maintain training programs and curriculum based on the organization's and individuals’ needs analysis

• Plan and conduct training and skills assessments, develop and implement operations training and progression programs effectively

• Ensure that all technical training, requisites and knowledge are transferred successfully to key personnel by working closely with various stakeholders (internal or external of Operations) to facilitate the effective execution of Training and Progression program

• Deliver and monitor new employee orientation, training and orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the organization

• Monitor and review the progress of new employees to enhance staff retention rate

• Drive and execute the employee engagement activities on site

• Conduct regular visits to various sites to build rapport with the operation staff and ensure company practices are met

• Conduct training in area of specialty when appropriate

• Maintain training records

Requirements

Ideally, the successful candidate should possess minimum diploma/degree or equivalent qualifications with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in delivering various training topics and in training needs analysis or training design & development and training delivery. Crucially, Training experience is a must. Experience in conducting in-house training will be a bonus. You can either be from a HR Department, or a Technical Training Engineering role.
